Who we are
Careevo (CAREEVO LIMITED) is a company registered in Jamaica that provides career-strategy services through the website at careevo.co. In these terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Careevo, and "you" refers to the person who books or uses our services.
Who can use our services
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use our services. By booking, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you give us is accurate and your own.
Our services
The Escape Plan™ Consultation
The Escape Plan™ Consultation is a paid, 60-minute one-on-one strategy session with a Remote Career Consultant. During and after the session, we prepare a written plan for you, which includes a career audit of how your skills match the international remote job market, a progression plan, and your recommended next move. You receive your written plan within 24 hours of your consultation.
The Career Club Authority Suite (Accelerator)
The Accelerator is a separate 90-day program designed to help you position yourself for and pursue remote roles. It includes services such as a career alignment report, resume and profile support, tools, coaching, and team support. The specific inclusions are described where the Accelerator is offered.
Availability
We deliver a limited number of consultations each week. Booking is subject to availability.
Fees and payment
The Escape Plan™ Consultation fee is 15,000 JMD (approximately $95 USD). The Accelerator is 45,000 JMD (approximately $284 USD) for 90 days. United States dollar amounts are approximate conversions and may vary with exchange rates. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you.
Payments are processed by our payment provider, Fygaro. Payment is due at the time of booking or enrollment unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Accelerator credit: if you book the Escape Plan™ Consultation and enroll in the Accelerator within 7 days of your consultation, your consultation fee is credited toward the Accelerator, so your net Accelerator cost is 30,000 JMD (approximately $190 USD). This credit applies to the Accelerator only.
The Tangible Takeaway Guarantee
Refunds and cancellations
Because the value of the consultation is the written plan you receive, consultation fees are non-refundable once your plan has been delivered. However, if your Escape Plan™ is not delivered within 7 days of your consultation, and we have not agreed otherwise with you on the call, you may request a refund. Rescheduling, no-shows, and lateness are covered in the consultation booking rules below. Accelerator terms, including any applicable cancellation terms, are described where the Accelerator is offered.
Consultation booking rules
Your consultation is booked and delivered under the following rules:
- Refunds are available if your Escape Plan™ is not delivered within 7 days of your consultation, unless we agree otherwise during the call.
- Careevo and its representatives are not responsible for a failed or missed booking caused by your own error or by your failure to attend the session.
- If you are unable to attend your session, you may reschedule up to two (2) times, at a time that is convenient for both you and the consultant.
- After three (3) combined no-shows or reschedules, the consultant has the right to revoke your session, and no refund will apply.
- Careevo and its representatives are not responsible for any misconception, misunderstanding, or lack of understanding regarding our services, the product, or the purpose of the consultation call.
- All prices are shown in USD and JMD but are processed in JMD. Conversion rates applied by your financial institution may vary.
- If you are late to your session, the consultant is not required to give you additional time beyond the scheduled end, where ending on time is reasonable so the consultant can honor other commitments, schedules, and meetings.
- If you enroll in the Career Club Authority Suite (Accelerator) within 7 days of booking your Escape Plan™ Consultation, the amount you paid for the consultation is credited toward that purchase.
- If you are unable to complete your order within the required timeline because of your own personal challenges or technical difficulties, and through no fault of Careevo or its representatives, we are not obligated to honor any credit or coupon that would otherwise have applied.
- You are responsible for checking all of your communication channels promptly so that you can access time-bound services, bonuses, or offers. Neither Careevo nor its representatives are responsible for any inconvenience caused by not doing so.
No guarantee of a job or income
Not professional advice
Our services are career-strategy and coaching services. They are not legal, financial, tax, accounting, or immigration advice. You should get advice from a qualified professional before making decisions in those areas.
Your responsibilities
To get value from our services, you agree to attend your consultation, engage honestly, and give us accurate and complete information. The Accelerator, in particular, requires your active participation and effort. We cannot be more committed to your goals than you are.
Intellectual property and licence
We own our methods, frameworks, tools, templates, content, and materials, and all related intellectual-property rights. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the deliverables we prepare for you, such as your written plan and your documents, for your own career and job search.
You may not copy, resell, redistribute, publish, or share our tools, templates, or materials, or use them to build a competing service, without our written permission. The written plan and documents we prepare specifically for you are yours to use for your own personal purposes.
Testimonials and feedback
If you give us feedback, a review, or a testimonial, you grant us permission to use it to promote our services, including the permission you provide when you agree to our terms at checkout. We may edit or shorten your feedback and may redact identifying details. You can ask us to stop using your testimonial at any time by emailing [email protected].
Acceptable use
You agree not to use our services or website unlawfully, not to misrepresent yourself or your experience, not to interfere with or disrupt our services, and not to infringe our or anyone else's rights.
Third-party services
We use and link to third-party services, such as our payment provider, booking and scheduling tools, and job boards. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
Disclaimers
Except for the Tangible Takeaway Guarantee in Section 5, our services and website are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for any lost income, profits, or opportunities. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to our services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of our services, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
Suspension and termination
We may decline, suspend, or end service to anyone who breaches these terms, behaves abusively, or misuses our services. Where you have paid for a service we are unable to continue for reasons within our control, we will act fairly and in good faith.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. You and we agree to try to resolve any dispute informally first by contacting [email protected]. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it will be subject to the courts of Jamaica.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of the page. If you continue to use our services after the changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.
