Careevo (CAREEVO LIMITED), a company registered in Jamaica, operates the website at careevo.co and provides career-strategy services, including the Escape Plan™ Consultation and the Career Club Authority Suite (Accelerator). In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Careevo, and "you" refers to the person whose information we process.

The information we collect

Information you give us

When you take our quiz, complete a form, book a consultation, or work with us, we may collect:

• Your name, email address, phone number, and country or location.
• Career information such as your work history, skills, target roles, salary preferences, language proficiencies, and the contents of any resume or documents you submit.
• Your quiz and intake-form answers, and the information you share during your consultation.
• Booking details, and the messages and correspondence you exchange with us.

Payment information

Payments are processed by our payment provider, Fygaro. We do not collect or store your full card details on our own systems. Fygaro processes your payment information under its own privacy terms.

Information collected automatically

When you use our website, limited technical information (such as your device and browser type and general usage) may be collected by us or by the third-party tools embedded in our pages, for example our booking widget and embedded maps. See the Cookies section below.

How we use your information and our legal bases

We use your information to:

• Deliver the consultation and prepare your written plan and related documents.
• Schedule, manage, and follow up on your bookings.
• Process your payments.
• Communicate with you about your service, and send marketing where permitted (see Marketing communications).
• Operate, maintain, and improve our services.
• Comply with our legal obligations and protect our legal rights.

Depending on the situation, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases: performing our contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in running and improving our business, and compliance with legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

How we use AI tools

We use artificial-intelligence tools, including large language models, to help us analyze the information you provide and prepare deliverables such as resumes, cover letters, and career plans. A member of our team reviews these outputs before they are delivered to you. We do not use these tools to make decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects without human involvement.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our services:

• Service providers who process data on our behalf, including Fygaro (payments), GoHighLevel / LeadConnector (booking, forms, customer records, and messaging), Google (forms, document storage, and workspace tools), Canva (design), Whop (membership access), the providers of the AI tools described above, and other providers who help us operate.
• Legal and safety reasons, where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or others.
• Business transfers, if our business is reorganized, merged, or acquired, subject to this policy.

International data transfers

Some of our service providers are located outside Jamaica, including in the United States. This means your personal information may be transferred to, stored, or processed in countries whose data-protection laws differ from Jamaica's. Where required, we take steps to ensure your information continues to be protected when it is transferred.

Marketing communications

We may send you marketing communications about our services, including to clients and to people who have shown interest in what we do. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by emailing [email protected]. We will still send you non-marketing messages that are necessary for your service, such as booking confirmations.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the site and its embedded tools to work. Third-party tools we embed, such as our booking widget and embedded Google Maps content, may set their own cookies under their own policies. We do not currently run advertising or analytics tracking of our own. If this changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.

Testimonials and reviews

We may publish client testimonials and reviews. We do so with the client's permission, which we request as part of the terms you agree to at checkout, and we edit or redact details such as full names, employer names, and other identifying information where appropriate. If your testimonial appears in our materials and you would like it removed, email [email protected] and we will remove it.

How long we keep your information

We keep your personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or for as long as the law requires. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Third-party links and services

Our website and materials may link to third-party sites and services, such as job boards, review platforms, and our payment provider. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of the page, and we will let you know of material changes where required.
